Yeah. You gotta have this baby ain't yer? Solange Gularte is the multi-talented female half of Natural Snow Buildings, the arty one whose fantastical & endearing artwork seems to take their music to another level....which is kind of impossible as it already sits right at the peak of absorbing, magical psych-folk & contemporary drone. Go much higher love you'll be floating on a cloud. As with most stuff from either or both of those two, the eerie, breathtaking dreamscapes they conjure are frankly otherworldly, so much so it's difficult to put the feelings into words. Solange concentrates on briefer & quite diverse works for her first vinyl outing here, shoehorning 12 measured, cerebral flights of audio fantasy onto one slab of wax. So if yr collection's bulging, this little morsel won't turn your room into a vinyl Mr. Creosote like the last NSB thing BR put out. So, i'm sat here, needing to review other things now. Problem is, I just can't bring myself to turn off the headphones. This music is just......perfect. And very, very special. Enough said.....! Get in now or cry later.

Debut vinyl release from Natural Snow Buildings' Solange Gularte's solo project, Isengrind. Modlitewnik continues Solange's fantasticly far out occult psych-folk-drone trip outs, 12 tracks across the length of this LP, considerably shorter pieces in comparison to her work with Mehdi in Natural Snow Buildings, Isengrind retains a certain amount of the sound of the duo, but it is a whole other beast, in many ways much stranger and darker, but still hauntingly beautiful with some fantastic blissed out vocal drones, dreamy guitars, and psyche soaked dark drone zones. Heavyweight vinyl, housed in a pro-printed full colour fold over sleeve with all 4 panels featuring stunning artwork by Solange, the inside of the cover is especially spectacular. One time pressing of approx 600 copies.
