OVERVIEW: Fabulous electronica EP from south London techno outfit Flotilla. This is the debut from the act, which is seeing good radio and print media response as well as club play. The 4-track EP moves from the unerring ‘Behave’ through to the more Plaid-like mellow ‘On A Street’, taking in stalker-paranoid electro in ‘Cathedral’. The influences are plentiful and there is more to this than meets the ear with an almost folk tinge. Already getting top reviews regional and national radio play.
Ho Hum are rolling out phase two of a marketing campaign with internet viral campaign as well as various EP giveaways on radio. There are significant plays coming in from the best and most recognised dance DJs in the UK.
