Los Angeles instrumental group Red Sparowes' latest release Aphorisms is a succinct and assertive statement of purpose. The 3-song vinyl captures the band's signature epic, heavy and sprawling sounds on their most anthemic and focused recording to date, aided by exceptional engineer Toshi Kasai (Melvins, Big Business, Tool). The vinyl features meticulously detailed artwork by Sonny Kay (including a full color 12"x24" poster) and marks its first release via Sargent House. Aphorisms is a thematic precursor to Red Sparowes third full length slated for release in 2010. The vinyl is the highly anticipated follow-up to the quintet's previous two albums, Every Red Heart Shines Toward the Red Sun (2006) and At The Soundless Dawn (2005).
