A Vibrant Struggle - Black Hole Meditation

Black Hole Meditation by A Vibrant Struggle

4...according to our on Thu 25 Mar, 2010.

We got a bunch of well limited CDr's on House of Alchemy this week. The one I picked up is a CD in a brown cardboardy pack thing by A Vibrant Struggle which is Bjerga, Iversen and Staplerfahrer. The former 2 I'm reasonably familiar with as their super productive noisey/ droney types... the latter chap I'm not familiar with but it would seem he's a reasonably productive sound artist chap from Holland. Here they've created a fuzzy droney lo fi mess of analogue noises which are intense to my ears. A lot of the noises sound like retro futuristic space noises which you'd get on old Doctor Who episodes from the 70's. It's playful yet dark.... As we're short of time this week I can't delve further into this but I'd like to as it's teasing me.

Staplerfahrer, Bjerga and Iverson team up to freeze minds. Deep, dark, distant drones. Music communicated via rocket-ship from just left of nowhere. They cook up some wicked potion here. No antidote in sight! Artwork by Katheryn Richards. 60 copies.
