The Babies are a Brooklyn supergroup featuring Cassie Ramone from Vivian Girls, Kevin Morby From Woods and Justin Sullivan from Bossy and Nathanael Stark from bent Outta Shape. Cassie's vocals are totally recognisable from the off. If you're familiar with Vivian Girls output you're gonna love this though it's a lot more laid back. It's an absolutely cracking tune and a totally fine example of jangley indie pop played in that effortless almost lazy Brooklyn style that elevates it above most. I've just listened to the A side 3 times. It's brilliant and is most definitely somewhere in between Woods and Vivian Girls and a must for fans of both bands!!Be the first to review this record.
