RE-ISSUE In the left corner, Gregor Asch, aka DJ Olive, plastician and musicophiliac translistener turned sound fragment mixer, discreet traveller, musical storyteller, sculptor of vinyl matter, choreographer of audible bodies and movements. In the right corner, Jean-Paul Dessy, a masterful horizon-widener, new music surveyor, and cellist whose bow also excites needles and mice without hesitation. Between - and beside, and all around - them, the musicians of the Ensemble Musiques Nouvelles: violinists, a violist, cellists, a flutist, a trombonist... who, invited by the two accomplices, generously contribute their instrumental inventions in order to develop together mix-mixed pieces that play with sparks, scratches and caresses.
