I like the sleeve to this. It's like a Twinsistermoon sleeve or something. The music couldn't be any further away though. It's released on a new label called Brainfeeder set up by some fella called Flying Lotus. Not heard of him but apparently he's like some huge martial arts guru who can fly. I saw him on telly last week and I couldn't believe my eye. Nonsense aside you can see why Flylo would want this on his roster. Here Mr Daedelus does his usual instrumental hip-hop business with some tasty beats that flits across varying styles which all fit nicely within the instrumental hip hop genre. It's all very tasteful indeed and throughout the EP there's an oriental feel appearing hither and thither... but being the EP is about the Boxer Rebellion that kind of makes sense. 8 tracks in total and it's a varied yet interesting beats which is worth a punt in my book!
