I got a feeling I know these dudes... They are pals with a top bunch of lads and lasses known as EYES whose track 'Chika' is performed here and they are also scheduled to do an Upset The Rhythm split 12" with Liverpool's monkey madness crew A.p.A.T.t who have written some of the best tunes I've ever heard!! This 12" features some mangled space synth indie pop that hurtles along at an enthusiastic pace and features reverb drenched shouty bits and reverb dancy bits. It brings to mind Leeds' very own Two Minute Noodles if they ate more Roy of The Rovers bars and spent all their time running about in the sun. It also has a little in common with Clara Clara, riding the thin line between progressive and goofy pop. Melodies are major key extravaganzas and the beats sit between programmed and live playing to give the music a natural flow combined with a danceable rhythm. Definitely an interesting selection. 'Chika' kicks ass.Coming soon, a delicious limited edition 12" by Peepholes.
