• Craig and Sharron Fortnam formed North Sea Radio Orchestra in 2002, which fast grew into a twenty-person grouping including a vocal chorus, who went on to release two albums to huge critical acclaim.
• In 2009, Craig began writing, recording and performing solo project ‘King of the Down’ by Arch Garrison, with additional vocals by Sharron.
• Their idyllic house by a river in the foot of the South Wiltshire Downs, complete with wheezing dog and a crackling fire, set the scene for ‘King of the Down’.
• It is an album full of melodic, harmonic and lyrical invention that, along with his NSRO accomplishments and ongoing collaborations, shows Craig Fortnam to be one of the UK’s most original and distinctive talents.
