Dissolving Records, the label that released the excellent 'In The Field' and Dissolving Orchestra album have put out a Cd by Sub Loam AKA Thomas Shrubsole. Simply titled '2' the album is comprises of two long tracks of "landscape meditation and exploratory ambience". It certainly has an earthy feel with lots of low end dubby wobbling and a murky feel that's juxtaposed with some pretty synth sounds. The second piece 'Grass and Soil, Rutted Track, A Mound Of Earth' is really cool, with lots more fluid bubbling liquid dub sounds. Comes packaged in a stamped paper bag and numbered of 110 copies.Dissolving Records
