We've been digging the Pangaea double pack EP on Hessle Audio. It begins with some rolling breaks and his great use of female vocal samples. What's interesting about this set of tracks though is that he explores beyond the future garage, dubstep template with one track 'Sunset Yellow' really standing out as being a warm, luscious detroit inspired number. 'Neurons' is really wobbly and has a weird thing happening that almost makes me feel seasick. There's even some fairly sparse, stripped back moments here...Brett wanted to review this as he really likes it and now he's not my friend.Tracklisting:
