The microscopic, surgically clipped snares hover deftly over the boom of Ice T’s stolen kick drums and bowel churning bass murmurs. Without warning our duvet of womb-insulated bass is replaced by a fairground arpeggio to haunt the dreams of those over 30, cascades of funereal chord progressions further spook and motivate. With psychic timing drums return, bass envelopes and all is well.

* To soothe the acid tones and percussive kicking of it predecessor, BrickAbrac returns us to the dusty antiquated stop motion world of Mr Fox. Here he favours a skeleton’s ribcage to rattle out a creaky and crackling 4x4 riddim, which is contrasted by the sexy tetris plinky-plonk keys and radioactive neon bass warble. Haunted vocal snatches wrap their spectral gloves around soaring strings uplift.
