New woodsist goodness this week comes in the form of a The Fresh And Onlys 7" entitled 'Second One To Know' which sees the group refining their psyche/garage rock sound into manageable and memorable space pop gems. Elements of The Byrds, The Troggs, The Monks and early Pink Floyd collide with the result being predictably excellent. B-side 'Hated and Loved' sees the band hanging at the beach crafting after hours surf-tones over a joint or two. A simple, pleasurable four track style recording featuring drumless, hand tapping percussion and an infectious guitar lick. Both tracks are taken from The Fresh and Only's long out of print 'Bomb Wombs' tape....i think.San Francisco’s FRESH & ONLYS return to the 7-inch format. You get "Second One To Know" and "Hated or Loved," recorded spring 2009. Both tracks are taken from the super limited Bomb Wombs cassette on Fuck It Tapes. Full-color glue pocket sleeves. Two of the band’s best songs yet!
