* Taking a quick break from running Berkane Sol, surely one of dubstep’ most original imprints, Geiom lets fly with a couple of lessons for the new Double Science label.

* ‘Classic Rewinds’ seems innocuous from the start, inquisitive prodd synths and melancholic Rhodes unfurling over proper cheeky garage beats. But in come the solid beams of bass, digital chatter and swirling topline, and you have the hallmarks of a classic Geiom dancefloor piece.

* ‘Toscani’ sees Geiom bring in newcomer Dawntreader to help out on product duties, once again deconstructing the 2- step framework in inimitable style - hesitant offbeat subs grumble beneath lively skipping drums, squishy analogue noodlings and hanging strings.

* Double Science is a new label from some old heads, and will be releasing future music that remembers and reinvents the garage roots of Dubstep.
