Sky Burials

This record left our Ant feeling happy.
We've been enjoying the debut release from Guanaco on Blackest Rainbow. The 'Sky Burials' LP has Lex Panayi of Beggin' Your Pardon Miss Joan in solo guitar mode and what a stormer he's brought to the table. He really gets some swirls of feelings flowing through the strings. I think what the label say is right on the money in this case: "This is a must for fans of early Six Organs of Admittance, Cam Deas, Voice of the Seven Woods and such..." Exceptionally affecting and high quality dark, psychedelic folk with some drone undertones. Edition of 300 copies.

What their label says...
Debut LP from England's Lex Panayi who also plays in Beggin' Your Pardon Miss Joan, this however is his solo project, which focuses on psychedelic acid drenched folk and dark grey area drones for a monolith landscape. The whole records blends beautifully together to create an excellent album from a relatively unknown artist. This is one fine example of current underground UK music which I'm really pleased to be releasing. This is a must for fans of early Six Organs of Admittance, Cam Deas, Voice of the Seven Woods and such... Paste on cover and insert, edition of only 300.
