Fyfe Dangerfield - She Needs Me

She Needs Me by Fyfe Dangerfield

'She needs me' is the first single from Fyfe Dangerfield's debut album 'Fly Yellow Moon'. You can immediately hear the Bernard Butler influence (he's credited as producer here) with it's bold, string laden arrangement. Much like the Scissor Sisters, Dangerfield seems to pillage from the Elton John, Rod Stewart, ELO, Supertramp school of songwriting yet he does this with a naive enthusiasm and sings passionately with no irony. B-side 'Great Cresendos' was recorded live to mini disc on a sneaky break whilst working as a steward at the Royal Festival Hall. It's blues inspired vocal and guitar wigout that makes the best of RFH's room ambience. Very different from the A-side, which is a good thing.

Fyfe Dangerfield illuminates the New Year with the release of ‘She Needs Me’ on January 11th - the glorious first single from his magnificently eclectic debut album ‘Fly Yellow Moon’.

Love this song, and will definitely get the album, I though it was the group Roachford from years ago, he sounds very similar.  I can't believe I've got to write 100 letters! Well, I'm a self employed travel agent and if he needs any travel arrangements just tell him to drop me a line! Maria
