We were all commenting on how lovely 'Songs For Babes' by Talons looked. It's not the fact that it comes in a lush silk screened sleeve which looks all pretty and that. It's not the fact that there are various envelopes stuff with things inside. It's not the fact that inside some of those envelopes is the Songs For Babes on CD plus 2 other albums on CD. Yes you get 3 different CD's in this vinyl package!! It's the whole thing. Presented tastefully with respect for you the punter which is what all labels should be doing and this the kind of stuff that gets us in shops excited. On Songs For Babes you get a bunch of tracks which are excellent played and recorded and fit in the whole earlier Thee More Shallows/latter Iron & Wine alt country/Americana bracket. The songs are good, it's well recorded, well packaged... This is the shit. Excellent!!

The greatest, most "official" Talons album. 12 awesome, really funny and really sad songs about cuddling, doing crystal meth, talking a walk, and other stuff.

Moments of charm, background noise, recording tape and a guy singing because that is what he does – incredible stuff. - Bolachas Grátis.

12" vinyl LP with CD-R version. Covers are hand printed on 100% recycled paper.
Comes with a cool booklet with song diagrams/schematics, drawings, and words.
