Madness‘ incredible 30th year continues with ‘Forever Young’, the third single
from their Gold selling album ‘The Liberty Of Norton Folgate’. The album
received rave reviews across the music press and ‗Forever Young‘, a tale of growing
old whilst still feeling young, was picked out as one of the stand-out tracks by many
publications.
Madness have enjoyed immense exposure in 2009, with a number of TV
appearances including BBC coverage of their entire Pyramid stage set from
Glastonbury, Later With Jools Holland, Children In Need and an appearance
on Catherine Tate’s Christmas Special, and an airing of ‗The Liberty Of Norton
Folgate‘ film (directed by Julien Temple) on BBC2 still to come.
Madness are about to embark on an enormous 18 show sell-out tour including a
return to London‘s O2 Arena, two matinee shows and Edinburgh‘s legendary
Hogmanay celebration concert.
Included in this release are two remixes from UK reggae supremo J Star, a rework
from Future Cut (best known for their work on Lilly Allen‘s ‘Smile’), a live version
recorded at Later With Jools Holland, a radio edit courtesy of Melt Music and a
brilliant cover of Billy Ocean‘s ‘Love Really Hurts’.
