Acclaimed Glaswegian rock band Twin Atlantic are set to release the latest cut from their recently released ‘Vivarium’ mini-album on the 30th of November, in the form of ‘What Is Light? Where Is Laughter?’.

Having seen ‘Vivarium’ chart at number 21 in the UK independent album charts, and previous single ‘You’re Turning into John Wayne’ go in at number 3 in the OCC Scottish single charts, as well as a successful headline tour of UK and Ireland, things are certainly picking up steam for the Scottish quartet.

The track, according to frontman, Sam McTrusty, is “a perfect example of how we try to use loud and quiet dynamics in our song writing.” He continues, “there’s also enough shiny pop moments we hope, that make the track more than a one listen work.”

As for the song’s subject matter, the singing guitarist sheds some light, “the song is written from a child’s perspective, as they’re always asking questions about the things they don’t understand or that scare them into standing up for themselves. As for the delivery, the main thing we wanted to get across as musicians was the chorus sounding and feeling like an explosion of light, hopefully giving the song an epic quality."
