Long awaited vinyl reissue of The Bongolian’s 2002 self-titled album debut. A recordbox essential for any DJ which since its release has found a wide appeal from Dance and Hip-Hop to rare groove and funky 45s fans.  Unavailable on LP for several years, but back by popular demand fuelled by last years release of The Bongolian’s critically acclaimed third album ‘Outer Bongolia’. This is a brand new cut of the LP and is pressed on virgin vinyl! The Bongolian aka Nasser Bouzida, is the main man from Blow Up Records’ Big Boss Man, and this is Nasser in his element, taking us on a musical journey of dirty bongo driven Funk and spaced-out Latin Soul – all 100% Heavy Bongo Vibes! The album was written, arranged, performed and produced entirely by Nasser at his home studio and recorded on analogue 8 track – but please note, this album contains NO SAMPLES, the groove just sounds that good!  The Bongolian's debut gig was a headline slot at the prestigious Rennes Jazz festival in France, and and since then has toured the UK, Europe and USA.
