...according to our Dave on Thu 03 Dec, 2009.
Darwin Deez's debut single is out. It's called 'Constellations' and is an ode to stargazing... or summat. It's a smooth song that slips from verse to chorus with little fuss. It sounds a bit Strokes in places, especially the vocal stylings. It's the sharp as a knife guitars that really grabbed me.. You gotta like a man with a sharp guitar sound as my old man used to say. The NME thinks this track is fucking awesome.. Would I concur? Mmmmmmmaybeeee. I'm not being paid to say that honest to god. Alright then I am.. It's on Lucky Numbers!!Following his CMJ performances, Darwin Deez has
become a hugely hyped artist, with NME strongly pushing
him for a 2010 break-through, including a Radar feature
and numerous blogs support him.
‘Constellations’ is a nigh-on untouchable mini-pop
classic, rolling together ebullient guitar strokes,
handclaps, and a childlike sense of awe into a fizzing
ball and kicking it high into the air.
