Sketches - Bleed Victoria

SKETCHES  met three years ago at Leeds College Of Music and have spent that time perfecting an eloquent indierock sound with a skilled widescreen sensibility. Their jeans may be skinnyfit, but SKETCHES have heard The Big Music, for sure.

** 'Bleed Victoria' follows heartily acclaimed releases the 'Pelicanalia' EP and the 'Slow Start' single (Louder Than Bombs Records), which picked up radio play from Fearne Cotton, Janice Long and Tom Robinson as well as Steve Lamacq, who had them on air as his favouritest new band.

** 'Bleed Victoria' also sees the return of Club Fandango's spin-off 7" singles club Label Fandango to the nation's market place. Limited to 300 copies only, 'Bleed Victoria' joins the Label Fandango library of tricksy leftfield vinyl nuggets by the likes of Broken Records, Fanfarlo and Air Traffic.
