Born only a year ago, The Anasazis are a three-man band- singer/guitarist Chris Rosi, guitarist Chris Eck and drummer Lucas Blankartz churning out minimal, 60 s revivalist lo-fi gems, soaked in reverb and saltwater. At their core, the Anasazis are a catchy slop pop band that sing about what they know aliens,grass, and girls.Recorded by John Green (The Soft Pack, Christmas Island, Crocodiles), Introducing is in fact just that, a 4 song introduction to the band, featuring favorites The Talk and UFO s . Fresh off a summer U.S. tour, the Anasazis are hanging homefor shows with The Box Elders, The Crocodiles and Strange Boys.Another outstanding product of the San Diego scene, The Anasazis Introducing EP marks the fourth release for I Hate Rock N Roll, a small DIY label located in Los Angeles. Pressed on black vinyl, this release is limited to a one-time press of 500 copies (400 pink jackets and 100 white jackets.)
