Headhunter makes a return to Tempa for one of those swish looking die-cut sleeve coloured vinyl records. I was quite into a few of the tracks off of those 12"s, he can certainly can whip a dancefloor groover and '3Mad Ps' is no exception, it's on the techy side of things recalling the likes of Distance. Although I do like a lot of the elements, the percussion, bassline etc. The track is ever so slightly marred by a trancey synth that's not really clicking with me but would probably make more sense on the dancefloor. 'Experience' doesn't particularly excite me, however 'In Motion' picks up the pace with it's Bristol meets Berlin dubstep/techno sound with lush pads and infectious repetition which isn't a million miles away from the record he did with F a short while ago. White vinyl that'll look sweet next to the other colours in the series.* This is a limited edition release to be pressed on white vinyl and housed in the die-cut sleeve used for Headhunter'sprevious ultra-limited edition coloured vinyl - Tempa's 038 (Purple), Proto (Fluoro Pink) & Ground (Fluoro Orange).
* Headhunter comes through with 3 heavyweight cuts for his latest Tempa offering - opening with '3 Mad P's'. Stiff andpronounced bass rhythms swell progressively before morphing into a funk-laden bruk-out beast complete with cymbal rides for added hedonism.
* 'Experience' is a riddim bound with sub bass which travels at frequencies intended to be felt and not heard. That in itself is an experience, which many within dubstep attribute to their moment of musical enlightenment.
* Fans of Headhunter's will be glad to find 'In Motion', The cheerily grooved techno - dubstep hybrid from his debut LP 'Nomad', is finally available here in single format.
* Tracklist: A>> '3 Mad P's' B1>>'Experience' B2>> 'In Motion'
