More avant-folk, this time courtesy of Mountainhood. I really can't categorize this scrawl of eerie, plinking, screeing, clanking eccentricity, spread over a single side of black wax. I really like what sounds like a tape machine being switched on & off, some way-out tinnitus inducing violin (??) torture and then some crackly, shimmery home made drone that sounds a bit like what a UFO hovering in your back garden would if it was captained by The Smash Mash robots from the 70's. Quite honestly one of the strangest records i've heard this year and i've heard a fuck of a lot.
