Architeq - Green & Gold

Green & Gold by Architeq

•    Fourteen tracks of pure originality, mixing electronic noises, discordant effects with twisted jazz, buckets of dub and a strong leftfield musicality.
•    ‘Green & Gold’ includes the debut single ‘Birds of Prey’ in all its gloriously dubbed out glitchiness and live drums, and ‘Krakatoa’, which mines on the organic and real instrumentation seam that flows through the album with aplomb, by featuring a finely honed chamber string section and subtle clarinet.
•    Elsewhere we find laid back sweet soul vocals courtesy of Junior Williams (vocalist from Sunharbour) on ‘Nothing’ and Hungarian producer Ilija Rudman reveals a new string to his bow with a fine vocal contribution to the twisted electro synth-driven ‘Mind Games’.
•    ‘Birds Of Dub’ and ‘Babylon’ take the spacey effects to the max, weaving in and out of a silky smooth, soothing electro bass line. Dub to the max here, in a rocksteady style.
•    “The perfect sound of summer 2009!” – Brad Vachal, “A man after my own heart! Love it.” – Max Essa, “Wicked, been a big fan since ‘Divers Do It Deeper’. Will definitely play this out...” – Alex Sheridan (Death To All Culture Snitches), “Tasty disco snax for the rumbly disco tummy...dig it” – Cal Gibson (IDJ).
