Hailing from Bangor, Northern Ireland, TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB are vocalist/guitarist Alex Trimble, bassist Kevin Baird and guitarist Sam Halliday. Their limited edition debut single – “Something Good Can Work” - released earlier this year, had a surfeit of ideas and a bona fide pop melody that bounces, swings AND rocks, sounding both sweet and jittery, dreamy and urgent. TDCC’s debut album, to which they’re currently putting the finishing touches with Phillppe Zdar on mixing duties, simply times that by ten. Slated for release in February 2010, TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB will be keeping themselves very busy in the meantime. First up is the KITSUNÉ TOUR with TDCC hitting the road with label-mates DELPHIC in late October, dates below.
