Having a violin player background, LOUIS WARYNSKI, as known as CHAPELIER FOU (named after Alice In Wonderland’s Mad Hatter), is a 24 year-young artist. It's by and for the violin that everything began at the age of 6. As a teenager, he discovered Computer Aided Music (C.A.M) which enabled him to fuse the practice of classical music and electronic experimentation. At the crossroads of musical genres, CHAPELIER FOU's music is chock-full of ideas, revitalized at every new track. In concert, he loops his instruments (violin, mandolin, guitar and keyboard), his songs are sequenced manually, live, with an awesome accuracy. Here is an artist having several strings to his violin, who's not bound to stop surprising us. "Initially, you think you're in familiar territory, it smells like old school YANN TIERSEN: sour instruments, teardropping violin, same music label based in Nancy, named Ici d'Ailleurs. Then some sequences. Appear and offset the topic, making it go severely crazy." Says DOMINIQUE A. in an interview for LES INROCKUPTIBLES. (first French indie mag). "Conductor of an imaginary orchestra, that he runs with a smile on his face, our ears quivering listening to the absolutely amazing sonorous result, every sound being at the same level, each of them going perfectly well together and seeming to dance around their master." A DECOUVRIR ABSOLUMENT (webzine). "Both singularly modern and deliciously nostalgic-styled, Chapelier Fou's music resonates as a call for travel, an open door to the imagination of a dreamer with the smile of a child" GOUTE MES DISQUES
