'When You Tell Me That You Love Me' is a wordy title for a single, almost as 'wordy' as my review style. Anyway, it's by Sad Day For Puppets and sounds very much like Belly and those mid-nineties 4AD bands....well Fort Apache. B-side 'Withering Petals And Dust' does actually sound a bit like Dinosaur Jr. (it's mentioned in the press release but I chose not to believe it) with a bit Juliana Hatfield thrown in for good measure. I prefer the B-side man...the solo wails!· The follow up to Sad Day For Puppets’ classic single
