OVERVIEW: * Two long out of print releases from ambient dub masterminds SCORN, housed in one value packed set, retailing for the price of a normal full price CD.
• Features two complete albums - the band's 1994 breakthrough effort '' coupled with the 1995 remix marathon ''.
• Scorn was the brainchild of ex-Napalm Death drummer Mick Harris, and ex- Napalm Death founding member Nic Bullen.
• Mixing a love of downtempo/industrial and ambient music, the duo released a series of progressively more refined albums for Earache, of which 'Evanescence' has been considered the best and most successful.
• The long deleted 'Ellipsis' remix album reconstructed material from Evanescence via a host of guest collaborators including Autechre, Bill Laswell, Meat Beat Manifesto and Coil.
• Remastered for this release.
• Scorn released a total of 6 albums on Earache, before Bullen left the group.
• Harris continued to release records under the Scorn name, and DJ's live around the world
