Answers (Radio Edit)/ Short Sharp Shock by Silverclub

*  CELEBRATING 30 YEARS OF FACTORY, DEDICATED TO MR. TONY WILSON (1950-2007) FACTORY FOUNDATION RECORDINGS presents FFR001 (limited to 500 numbered 7")

*  50% of Factory Foundation Recordings sales, after costs, go directly to support The Factory Foundation’s work with children, young people and musicians across Greater Manchester and nationwide from 2010.

*  The artists recieve 50% of record sales. At the time of going to press, they are still free, to fuck off.

*  SILVERCLUB fuse the friendships, talents and hangovers of underground electronica/techno producers Duncan Edward Jones (vocals, guitar, synths) and Tommy Walker III (bass) with Jim Noir (‘Eanie Meanie’, Adidas World Cup Advert) and Pete Marshall (drums). From centre-stage on the official In The City: Unsigned and BBC Introducing, to performances at Glastonbury, Diesel XxX, Smirnoff Original Nights, Eurocultured, Liverpool Sound City, Beatherder and Kendal Calling as well as support for The Whip, producing Ten Bears and a remix for The Travelling Band’s cover of The Stone Roses classic ‘Waterfall’ are confirming SILVERCLUB as "one of the U.K.’s most-watched up-and-coming acts." - XLR8R magazine.

*  From a Manchester second-hand record shop called Factory (thanks Tony) to the award-winning charitable Factory Foundation providing free music workshops for young people, Factory Foundation Recordings has been created to break new music, made in Manchester while supporting local musicians and bands. Factory Foundation Recordings founder, Esther O’Callaghan, chose SILVERCLUB as the first signing thanks to “a combination of insomnia and too many facebook chats with Duncan after he sent me the myspace link to the band”.

*  The ’Answers’ EP produced by Duncan and Jim Noir, from the forthcoming Silverclub album features a Heartbreak remix with remixes from Matrix, Truth, Drum Matic Twins, Remute and Mark Henning to follow.
