After watching most of their catalog fall out of print over the years, Athens' of Montreal saw a resurgent interest in their back catalog following the overwhelming success of Satanic Panic In The Attic and The Sunlandic Twins.
Originally released in 1997 The Bird Who Continues to Eat the Rabbit's Flower is not an EP but an 8-song mini-album that was released shortly after of Montreal's debut album was released. The highlight of the album is a cover of The Who's "Disguises" and the album serves as a foundation out of which other of Montreal full-lengths would manifest themselves.
