Mapstation - The Africa Chamber

The Africa Chamber by Mapstation

"A truly beguiling album fit for the flotation tank." - (Dj Mag) "Highly recommended." - (Igloo) "Draw a map and get lost." (Yoko Ono)
Stefan Schneider aka MAPSTATION was involved in various musical projects during the past years, among others: Kreidler (until 1999), To Rococo Rot (City Slang, Domino), Music A.M. (Quatermass).
Delving deeper into the sounds and subjects already explored on his previous outings "Map Of Africa" (2002) and "Loin D'Afrique" (2006), this record expands on MAPSTATION's tentative love and study of the African continent.
Contributions on this album include ANNIE WHITEHOUSE (trombone), former Fela Kuti Band member NICHOLAS ADDO-NETTEY (percussion), and Kreidler´s drummer THOMAS KLEIN.
