OVERVIEW: The Raveonettes still very much consist of Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo, both Danish-born and now residents in New York and Los Angeles respectively. 
On October 5th they will be releasing their fourth album, 'In And Out Of Control'. It features eleven brand new songs, lasts for 37 minutes and eleven seconds and was recorded in Denmark in a proper studio with a top producer because - get this - The Raveonettes wanted to make a pop record.
The end results are so startlingly effective that after a crack panda team of single choosers struggled to narrow down the choices for a lead-off single. Indeed they struggled so much they ended up opting for a double AA-side release which showcases two of the poppermost tunes on the album, those being the sunshine shimmy of 'Bang!' and the deadpan sophistication of 'Last Dance'.
The Raveonettes played a triumphant show in London a couple of weeks ago, causing the NME to exclaim that "The Danish duo attack their guitars with an intoxicating blend of style and raw passion that sees new songs 'Bang!' and 'Last Dance' get feet moving despite no one having heard either song before. The Raveonettes are becoming a timeless classic".
