Bad Guys played their first gig at ATP curated by The Melvins and Mike Patton. Neither knew Bad Guys were gonna play but they did it anyway. You ever seen someone crowdsurf in a living room? Bad Guys have. You ever seen Jared from The Melvins force his way through your window to get to your gig? Bad Guys have. You ever trashed a place so bad it needs to be rebuilt from scratch? Bad Guys have. The two tracks here, Hips and Livewire, give you a pretty good idea what these guys do. Loud, exciting, guitar soloing, hardcore influenced drunken party music, basically the most fun you can have without taking off all your clothes and doing things that would get you into trouble. Produced and recorded at Part Chimp’s Dropout studios, the tracks are just what you need in your life. Bad Guys are amazing with a capital A. In fact they’re so amazing all the letters are capitals.
