Sindre Bjerga has a disc of two live recordings out under the banner of 'Polluted Oceans Of Hiss And Muck'. The first track is a recording from Prague and was from a show on February 2009 and it's somewhat of a bad trip, in the best possible way of course. It begins with strange siren type sounds with ultra slowed down nightmarish vocals, it's a total weirdo affair. It's kinda funny too and has me grinning. Then things proceed in a gloomy and strange way with the drones and stuff but it retains a bit of an oddball feel which I totally dig. I reckon this is one of the cooler releases I've heard from this man so snap this up while you can as we only have a few of this ltd edition tour CDr on Blackest Rainbow.Edition of only 50 copies made for shows in October 2009 across the UK. Two tracks recorded in Vansdorf and Prague, Czech Republic in Feb 2009). The lo-fi quality of the recordings adds a mystique of what sounds are supposed to be there and what are down to the occurences that sometimes emerge from live recordings, the whole disc has a beautifully raw and pure feel to it, there's moments in the second track where you can hear what could be a digital camera beep, but who knows, it could be anything right? Packaged in a classic BR style sleeve.
