Skanfrom - Are You Alone?

Next up it's Skanfrom with a tasty little seven on All-clear records. A side 'Are you alone' is a dramatic instrumental synth number with hints of soundtrack ambience. The synth lines fully kick ass on this tune and odd choice of rhythm tones makes for a great electro single. Sorta reminds me of John Carpenter soundtrack jams (that'll be the steady hi-hat rhythm and some strange sweeping sounds) but with futuro Kraftwerk/euro electro undertones. It finishes with the unnerving computer generated voice that repeats the line 'Are you alone', spooki-o. B-side 'I will miss you 1' is an up tempo space synth jam that's stinks of early Depeche mode mixed if they had written the Running Man soundtrack. 'I will miss you 2' continues the theme but mixes up the back beat to get those feet shuffling on the dance floor. So spooky shit and one side and cute shit on the other, what more could you ask for.
