I've heard of this band 'The Buzzcocks' and all the ace tunes they've got. 'Whatever Happened To?' is one of those and this is a demo where Pete Shelley doesn't sing it very well and pretty much all you can hear is the bass going dun der der der der dun der der der der. It sounds well meaty but where's the guitars? Also there's this band 'Joy Division' and one of their ace tunes is 'No Love Lost' which appears on these multicoloured 7"s in a version I can't remember hearing before, sporting an extended synthy intro and stuff. Ian Curtis sounds well young on it too. I think you probably know whether or not you want this dodgy bit of under the counter product and there's only 150 of them like innit. This really is a beauty. A gorgeous multi-coloured vinyl ltd to 150 copies- feat. fantastic demos by Joy Division and Buzzcocks, in a nice 2 sided sleeve. The jd track especially is fantastic- a great demo for "No Love Lost" with a nice kraut / more synth based intro than the original. Looks and sounds great! The overall theme is to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the joint tour of '79! These wont last long!
