Well Volcano Choir is a collaboration from that Bon Iver bloke & Collections of Colonies of Bees and I'm reluctant to open a copy as they've not sent us a promo but the track 'Island, Is', generously broadcast on their MySpace comes across very much like erm...Bon Iver remixed by Axel Willner (AKA The Field) and is quite terrific as such - wistful sighing vocals backed with jittering atmospheric electronics. I'm still not gonna open one, this will sell bucket loads anyway. It's a CD, it's got music on & costs money. What more you want to know huh? YOU WANT BLOOD? On Jagjaguwar
