London's Invasion are a heavy bass-less trio made up of two girls and one metal geek. They finalised their line-up in January 2007 and play short, fast, riff-based tracks with incredible vox to accompany an early 90's drunk-metal attack.

 ‘Spells of Deception’ is their second 10” release on the prolific This Is Music, following the successful release of the ‘Conjure War’ 10”, and following great features in NME, and with even more to come.

‘Behind the Black Gate’ is a growling rock monster that builds up to a head-banging frenzy, which combined with lead singer Chan’s Motown-influenced soulful voice creates something truly magical. This track will not be on the forthcoming Invasion album, so grab it while you can.
