Alexandr Vatagin - Shards

After creating a mixture of ambient soundscapes and experimental instrumental tracks mostly using analogue instruments on his first album "Valeot", on his second mini-album "Shards", the basis of the tracks shifted towards digitally created soundscapes interwoven with field-recordings and instruments such as cello, bass and vibraphone.

It's the naturalness and unusual easiness with wich Alexandr combines these distinct elements to beautiful and pleasant yet experimental pieces which makes this record a special one.
