Some amazing library sounds on a sampler CD from Finders Keepers offshoot Disposable Music who put out that ace Bruno Spoerri LP a couple of weeks ago. I'm not gonna start dissecting tracks, far too busy with various folk off in far flung parts of this tortured Isle (we have sound clips innit!) but rest assured, this is neat stuff, ranging from the tranquil, the groovy to the cheeky right through to the delightfully cheesy & mopping up some very evocative mood pieces & bizarre radiophonic workship style eccentricities along the way. The vile curse of muzak is nowhere to be heard, these is a lot of love & integrity gone into the manufacture of these obscure, beguiling gems. I don't normally take CDs home but this is just brilliant so fuck it...............This various artists compilation previews the forthcoming series, including tracks taken from the first batch of 12 inches - DiM001-005, plus exclusive tracks from future releases and 'exclusive to this cd' bonus tracks.
Subscribers also receive a DiM printed catalogue (alongside the 5 vinyl releases and this CD) featuring historical and factual information on these library releases current and forthcoming.
