Toman - Where Wolves Wear Wolf Wear

Where Wolves Wear Wolf Wear by Toman

4...according to our on Thu 06 Aug, 2009.

Toman are Belgian which has just occurred to me is responsible for a very distinct sounding brand of progressive rock, the modern lineage from Deus to Soulwax being world famous, so this is perhaps not a purchase for our good Belgian friend Jeroen as he apparently dislikes those two aforementioned bands like the plague. 'Where Wolves Wear Wolf Wear' is more dynamic, twiddly & compulsive post-rock with that weird compressed Belgian sound and nonchalent, airy vocals. Its not really massively my thing but the musicianship throughout strikes me as taut, passionate & well produced, plus the digipak comes with a cool full colour comic book! Nice set, on Zeal.
