Here's a well limited Under the Spire CD by Strategy called 'Awareness In Fruit'. As ever it's packaged in one of those wee brown foldy cardboard arigato packs and they're well lovely looking!! It's a 3" CD which sits on one of those white nipples looking furtive. I don't trust those nipple packs.... Over the years Strategy have made some top records. Really hazy dubby sounding electronic sounds capes and this CD is more of the same. I much prefer it to the last Kranky album. It's well boss in fact. It takes you onto a journey through a brand new dubby ambient sounds cape where there's lots of flashing lights and small furry things scuttling around. It's making me feel like I'm on drugs when I'm not. Clearly the sign of a good record and a great reason to buy one if you ask me. 100 only and when it's gone then it's gone!

Awareness Is Fruit was recorded in early 2008, and finished in 2009, by
Paul Dickow, using guitar and electronics. Originally composed for the
Awareness Is Free festival. 3"CD in 4-panel inkstamped, handnumbered &
embossed packaging from Stumptown. 100 copies for the big bad world.
