Far Black Furlong are a musical project that I have liked for quite some time since hearing their limited edition recording on Barl Fire. So,its a great pleasure for me to release music by them in the form of "Caerbre".Far Black Furlong make experimental, ambient music that also draws on folk, drones, classical and electronica. Their music is based on live improvisation that is often later edited and treated, and otherwise mangled. FBF are comprised of baroque oboist Mark Baigent, composer Richard Moult, medievil harp and woodwind player Anne Marie Summers, guitarist Ian Tengwall & Andy Cotterill on electronics & drones. They have had previous releases on Barl Fire, Beta Lactum Ring and ICR.
"Caerbre" has two quite long tracks and comes as a 3" cdr with a cover made from black handmade paper strewn with flower petals."Caerbre" is available now in an edition of 52 hand numbered copies in a resealable plastic packet.
