Godflesh was the brainchild of Justin Broadrick, a founding member of Napalm Death who played on the legendary 'Scum'.

Over the band's career, Godflesh became one of the most influential industrial bands ever, touring the globe with the likes of Ministry, Fear Factory, Danzig and Type O Negative, and gaining influential fans including the likes of Metallica's Kirk Hammett. Since disbanding Godflesh, Justin Broadrick has continued a critically acclaimed career with Jesu and Techno Animal. Broadrick has continued to remix a number of notable artists, including Pantera, Isis and Earth, and has most recently collaborated with Jarboe of Swans.
