A retrospective collection of 23 songs.
The BMX BANDITS have been together for more than 20 years, featured members of THE VASELINES, TEENAGE FANCLUB and THE SOUP
DRAGONS, released records on Creation Records, 53rd & 3rd , Vinyl Japan et al. Lynchpin Duglas T Stewart has played on albums by Alex Chilton,
Chip Taylor, Stevie Jackson, Eugene Kelly, and Ally Kerr. They've operated outside of the music industry norm spreading their melodic seeds
through half a world’s worth of record labels. “The Rise & Fall of BMX BANDITS” is no normal disc. Nor is it a greatest hits
compilation. Their Nth album is a recovery of songs chosen by Stewart himself throughout his own career, some of which are out of print, hard to
find B sides of singles, others which were re-recorded for the occasion, some which were previously unreleased (like the Tom Waits cover from
1997), and other milestones from their catalogue.... 23 songs in total;
