Tubby Hayes - Voodoo Session

Voodoo Session by Tubby Hayes

*  Limited to 666 copies for the world, this is a little piece of jazz and movie history.
*  In 1964 Tubby Hayes and his quintet were involved in the making of what would turn out to be a classic British horror film - Dr Terror’s House Of Horror.
*  In the late 60’s a single from the film was released by CBS but it did not feature the instrumental Voodoo cue from the infamous scene in the film.
*  Well the wait for this afro-jazz instrumental is now over. Discovered in the Tubby Hayes archive since he died, this
original reel of tape is from the actual 1964 session, it contains three cues from the movie , ‘Voodoo’, ‘Bailey’s Blues’ and the other classic from the film ‘Give Me Love’ sung by Kenny Lynch.
