Allo Darlin' have a 7" out on weePOP! which has am amazing sleeve featuring Henry Rollins' head superimposed onto John Travolta's body ala Saturday Night Fever (I think). It's really got to be seen to be believed! The song is 100% pure indie pop with some mariachi style trumpets. 'Henry Rollins Don't Dance' though.... and neither does Ian Mackaye you'll be pleased to know. This is great fun!! There was some groans in the office when it first got played but I've just heard it a few times and I can confirm it's top fun. It's just innocent fun which turns into The One That I Want' from the Grease soundtrack (honestly). The singer has a lovely voice which is trickling nicely down my earpaths. I reckon fans of Camera Obscura etc will go for this cheeky li'l number. I like it! On orange wax too!! * Track Listing
