LSD March - Live At The AMS

Live At The AMS by LSD March

4...according to our on Thu 02 Jul, 2009.

LSD March got their name from the Guru Guru song so they set their psychey stall out right from the start and have lived up to it pretty grandly on the odd thing I've heard from them. The Live At the AMS LP is less full-on compared with those releases but it shows a side of them I very much like, reminding me a little of the spacious, sadness-filled drone ballads of Suishou No Fune with added sheets of Haino-style guitar occasionally piercing right through the mix.. Along with the pained vocals which have to be heard to be believed. The intensity! He sounds like a man who's missed out on getting his limited underground Japanese rock LP of which only two hundred copies exist.. Mayhap he should visit Norman Records and bag one of the hundred black vinyls that were pressed?
